Boulder Terror Attack Suspect Mohamed Sabry Soliman's Mugshot Released Amid Ongoing Investigation
FBI labels Boulder attack as targeted terrorism, suspect Mohamed Sabry Soliman used explosives at pro-Israel march, injuring eight.

Colorado authorities have released a new mugshot of Mohamed Sabry Soliman, the suspect arrested in connection with Sunday’s violent attack in Boulder. The image was made public as Soliman, 45, faces a slate of serious charges including first-degree murder, assault, crimes against at-risk adults or the elderly, criminal attempt, and the alleged use of explosives or incendiary devices during a felony.
Investigators allege that Soliman targeted a gathering on Pearl Street where members of the “Run for Their Lives” group had assembled to advocate for the release of hostages taken by Hamas. According to officials, Soliman hurled explosive devices into the crowd, resulting in chaos and panic. Law enforcement sources described the attack as a "targeted terror attack", emphasizing its deliberate nature.
The attack left eight individuals injured, with ages ranging from 52 to 88. Authorities confirmed Monday morning that one victim remains in critical condition while the others are being treated for various injuries. Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported thus far. Boulder police responded quickly to reports of a man armed with incendiary weapons allegedly setting people on fire, and the scene was secured within minutes.
Federal authorities revealed that Soliman is an Egyptian national who has been residing in the United States illegally. Records indicate that he initially entered the country on a work visa two years ago, but the visa has since expired, leading to his current undocumented status. This information has raised new questions about visa enforcement and monitoring, particularly in light of such public safety concerns.
The Boulder Police Department has announced plans to hold a press conference later on Monday to address further details about the ongoing investigation and the conditions of the victims. Officials have urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity as they continue to pursue all leads related to this shocking incident.
