China's top diplomat, Wang Yi, held a high-level meeting on Wednesday in Beijing with Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, who serves as the special envoy of the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to China. The discussions underscored the strengthening ties between the two nations and reflected their shared ambitions to deepen cooperation across multiple sectors.
During the talks, Wang Yi emphasized that China-UAE relations have maintained a robust momentum, a development he attributed to the strategic leadership of both countries’ heads of state. He stated that China is prepared to work closely with the UAE to offer mutual support on issues integral to each nation’s core interests. Al Mubarak assured that the UAE continues to adhere firmly to the one-China principle and will steadfastly support cooperation based on independence and autonomy.
