Emphasizing the strong trajectory of bilateral relations since diplomatic recognition was established five years ago, Wang Yi underscored the **deepened political trust and expanding cooperation** that now characterize the relationship. According to Wang, the partnership has yielded *fruitful results*, reflecting "a correct choice that conforms to the trend of the times and serves the long-term interests of both peoples."

Wang reaffirmed China's commitment to support the Solomon Islands’ economic and social development, highlighting Beijing's willingness to work collectively to uphold **multilateralism**, reinforce basic principles of international relations, and promote fairness and justice on the global stage. He expressed appreciation for the Solomon Islands’ steadfast adherence to the **one-China principle**. Both sides signaled a commitment to yielding more practical results from their relationship, aiming for ongoing collaboration that benefits their respective nations and contributes to regional stability and prosperity.
