Dalian Marathon 2025: Celebrating Sport, Culture & Tourism in China's Vibrant Coastal City

The coastal city of Dalian came alive on Sunday morning as the 35th Dalian Marathon commenced, drawing an enthusiastic crowd of runners and spectators. With over 33,000 participants from 55 countries and regions, including an impressive 430 international athletes, this year’s race reinforced its growing reputation as a vibrant international event.

This edition of the marathon saw fierce competition, especially in the elite categories. Athletes from Ethiopia and Kenya, both globally renowned for their distance running dominance, retained their stronghold by capturing the top podium positions in the full and half marathon races.
