International Youths Explore Cutting-Edge Technology in Zhejiang

A group of enthusiastic young representatives from across the globe, including Russia, Nigeria, Ghana, Latvia, and Germany, recently gathered in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, for an immersive encounter with China’s frontier technology. The event, part of the “Hi China! My China Story” initiative, provided an up-close experience with cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) applications, reflecting China's growing influence in the realm of innovative technologies.


During their visit on May 10, 2025, the international youths explored a variety of Chinese-developed AI tools and products. Among the highlights were interactive sessions with humanoid robots, which showcased the practical advancements being made in robotics and automation. Participants expressed awe as they witnessed robots simulating human-like gestures and speech, and even responding to personal questions in multiple languages. The demonstrations offered a glimpse into how AI is rapidly transforming industries throughout China and beyond.


In addition to experiencing advanced technology, participants engaged in cultural exchanges aimed at deepening their understanding of Zhejiang’s rich heritage. The group toured prominent local sites, including historical museums and innovation hubs, where they learned about both the city’s past and its ambitions for the future.
