Kazakh Launch Ceremony Celebrates Release of Xi Jinping's Governance Books in Kazakhstan
Kazakh editions of Xi Jinping's governance books officially launched at a ceremony highlighting strengthened bilateral ties.

The launch ceremony for the Kazakh editions of Volumes I through IV of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China was held on Thursday in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, marking a significant step in deepening the cultural and intellectual exchanges between China and Kazakhstan.
Kazakhstan's Minister of Culture and Information, Aida Balayeva, described China as a "trustworthy strategic partner" during her remarks at the event. She highlighted that the close ties and high level of mutual trust between the leaders of both nations have provided strong impetus to their bilateral relationship. Balayeva emphasized the book series' value, noting that it is "rich in content, profound in thought, and highly relevant in practice."
Speaking about the impact of the publication, Balayeva added that this important literature offers Kazakh readers an opportunity to gain a deeper and more nuanced understanding of China's development strategies and governance philosophies. Attendees agreed that the books encapsulate President Xi Jinping’s insights on both national administration and global governance, positioning them as an essential "window of ideas" for those seeking to understand China's approach to modern challenges.
Organizers of the event expressed confidence that through the study of these volumes, Kazakh readers from various sectors—including politics, academia, and business—will discover valuable references for charting their own development paths tailored to Kazakhstan's unique conditions. This, they believe, will further strengthen the partnership and mutual learning between the two neighboring countries.
The ceremony attracted around 300 representatives from political parties, media organizations, think tanks, and universities across both nations, underlining the growing interest in Chinese policy and thought leadership within Kazakhstan. The Kazakh editions were co-translated and published through a collaboration between China's Ethnic Publishing House and Kazakhstan's Foliant Publishing House.
To date, Xi Jinping: The Governance of China has been translated and published in 42 languages, reflecting its broad international reach and rising influence in global discussions on governance and development.
