Senior Chinese official Chen Wenqing held talks this Friday with Le Minh Tri, chief justice of Vietnam's Supreme People's Court, as the two nations seek to bolster their comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership. Chen, who serves on the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and heads the CPC Central Committee's Commission for Political and Legal Affairs, stressed the importance of following through on mutual understandings reached by Chinese and Vietnamese leaders. "The leaders of our two countries have reached important consensus on deepening the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership," Chen remarked. He noted that these agreements provide a clear direction for the continued growth and stability of bilateral relations.

The Chinese official called for earnest efforts from both sides to fully implement these top-level agreements. Priorities emphasized by Chen included improving communication mechanisms, expanding avenues for cooperation, and fortifying mutual support in judicial matters.
